Hello,
I've only just joined this forum and seen your message, because I'm trying to track down some info on the Batts myself. Hannah, the subject of your message, was the older sister of Phyllis Elizabeth Batt, who married Jonas Newman in Australia - I am descended from the Newmans. Their son was my great grandfather.
You may already know that Hannah and her family (husband Jeremiah and son Charles) came out on the ship "Lloyds" in August 1855. They had a few more children: John (who died in 1870... not sure of the birth year), George in 1857 and Elizabeth in 1863, the year Jeremiah died. I can't find a listing for Hannah's death.
I'd be happy to share whatever else I have got on the Batts, although it isn't really much.
