James Batt married Cessie (sic) Shuker September Quarter 1911 Birmingham 6d-299.

Index of Births, Marriages and Deaths - up to about 1914 - can be found at:
http://www.freebmd.org.uk/

You can send for the marriage cert on line at the General Register Office:
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/

or the Birmingham Register Office:
http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/registeroffice.bcc

The marriage certificate will give the father of both the bride and groom and you can then trace them on the 1901 census.
I see that Cessie lived in Halesowen, Worcestershire in 1901 and the only James Batt who is anywhere near there is in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire with his parents, Thomas and Susannah. The marriage cert would confirm if the father is Thomas.
Hope this helps
Pam B.
